✓  ComStellation – General Information:

ComStellation specializes in secure communications, providing sovereign solutions in the context of government institutions and national security.
On April 28, 2025, ComStellation signed a strategic partnership agreement with BulgariaSat, providing satellite connectivity and data transfer for dual-use (civil-military) applications.

✓  Technical Parameters Verified by the National Institute of Telecommunications (IŁ-PIB):

Tests: May 19-22, 2025, conducted by the National Institute of Telecommunications (IŁ-PIB) with participation from POLSA and BulgariaSat.
Critical locations in Poland: satellite beam tests demonstrating full territorial coverage of Poland from BGS-1 (1.9°E).


▪ Results:

  • Confirmed coverage of all of Poland, including areas critical to national security
  • Eb/No margin > 18 dB for 60 cm antenna - high interference resistance
  • Secure link capacity: 100+ Mbps downlink / 20+ Mbps uplink with 60 cm antenna terminal per transponder
  • Terminal activation time without pre-configuration: ~15 minutes
  • VoIP and video conferencing - very good quality and stable connection despite GEO latency (~550 ms)


▪ Conclusions:

  • The conducted tests confirm that the satellite service offered by ComStellation - based on the tested beam covering Poland from the BulgariaSat-1 satellite - is well-designed, highly resistant to interference, and fully adapted to the needs of secure communication throughout Poland, even for small portable terminals (60 cm antenna).
  • Further use of this infrastructure is recommended for building secure and sovereign satellite communication, especially in the context of government and national security needs.

  • Launched on June 23, 2017, by Falcon 9 (SpaceX) from Cape Canaveral (LC-39A)
